An instance of something becoming popular, active or important, again.
For our first event of the year we invited everyone to travel with us back to the late 60’s, early 70’s, where music emerged in a war chant against the establishment through rock and roll, soul, funk and disco.
Live bands, DJs, vinyls and interactive activities by the crew.
We all jumped in ALTEREGO’s time machine and we left our phones behind.

For this opportunity we hosted our first international artist: JAMES ANDREW (Nothing But Nice Records - UK).
James came all the way from UK and delivered his enviably smooth selections, including his very own high-energy productions of UK garage, house and break beat.
On support for this edition, we had a fine line-up of selectors in the form of Ben Bracken (Oblique Records / Sydney), Jackson Winter (ALTEREGO) and MAGIA (ALTEREGO).
We also counted with interactive activities and installations by the crew.

All those elements where combined to form a connected whole of carefully curated music, art expositions, installations and sensorial activities.
We proposed people to leave nowadays endless stream of high-speed-algorithm-orientated music and go back to the old ways: when a person, a DJ, would introduce you to new music and albums to discover new worlds.
We synthesised. We danced. We where free.

After a long day at work, being conscious of the ecological colapse that we’re living these days, feeling that this system is failing us, there’s a song that slaps us in the face.
There’s a poem, there’s a book written with blood and passion telling us that we're not crazy, we're not alone. A piece of art in which we can immerse until we loose perception of time.
There’s a movie that make us cry and make us think. So we made a cinema, poetry and music event and guess what ?
It was epic.
OFFLINE

In collaboration with THE SHELTER, FAT SLICE MEDIA & CADA TANTO.
Live music, art installations, exhibitions, games, workshops, projections, funky dance floor. We invited the community to turn off their phones, go OFFLINE, and re-connect to their soul through the expression of Human Beings. OFFLINE was a carefully curated artistic experience with a diverse range of art.
